SXSW: Reno Bo

After three years as the touring bass player for Mooney Suzuki and Strokes’ guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., Reno Bo struck out on his own. The singer-songwriter relocated from New York City to Nashville, and set to work. His debut album, Happenings and Other Things, was released on Electric Western Record on February 9th, 2010. Bo will be touring in support of his album for the majority of 2010, providing crowds a chance to catch his seamless blend classic rock sound and some serious power pop hooks in person.

SXSW: Tom Schraeder

In 2008, Tom Schraeder’s three-day trip to SXSW ballooned into a twelve week stay in Austin. By the time the singer-songwriter was ready to return to his Chicago home, he had completed his sophomore effort, Lying Through Dinner, which features a number of contributions from local Austin musicians.
